Pension Insurance Fund Director Relja Ognjenović sued retired doctor Slavica Plavšić for allegedly suffering mental pain and suffering as a result of two satirical articles that Plavšić wrote about him in 2023. The court ruled in Ognjenović's favor and ordered Plavšić to pay him 210,000 dinars. In both articles, Plavšić talked about state corruption and pointed to the involvement of the PIO fund in both cases. After the verdict, social media users organized and collected funds to pay the damages.
