State operator Telekom Srbija announced that their users' data was leaked due to a hacker attack that compromised their system. The data of approximately 330,000 users, including their full names and surnames, phone numbers, ID numbers and residential addresses, were published in the attack. Telekom claimed that the database will be removed from the Internet although this is impossible, while the company's director stated that this database is unattractive for abuse, ignoring the scale of the violation and not taking any responsibility. The commissioner initiated the company's supervision proceedings after the case became public.
