Nemanja Šarović, KTV television journalist and president of the Ljubav vera nada movement, sued Radio 021 for defamation. The first-instance verdict convicted Radio 021 and ordered them to pay a fine for non-material damages as well as court costs. Radio 021 was condemned for using the statement of the President of the Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabić in their article, in which Brnabić insulted Šarović. However, the court ruled that the statement was the editors' and portals personal opinion, therefore ruling in Šarović's favor. Radio 021 is the target of several more lawsuits for its publication of testimonies about police brutality, as well as attacks on citizens, students and activists at protests over the past year.
